2024 EEF Scholarship Winners
Each year the Environment Education Foundation presents scholarships to students pursuing environmentally focused college degrees. This year, we had a record number of applicants and the most qualified applicants we have ever seen.
Continuing Education - Outdoor Education
For the first time, EEF awarded a scholarship to one an area teacher to support her certification in outdoor education.
Melissa Bobula (seen here with three of her students and EEF Board Director, Kristen Freytag) is one of the outdoor education teachers who uses EEF’s Charlotte Peterson Outdoor Education grants for experiential learning for her elementary students at Brookwood school.
Thomas J. Cashman Post Graduate Scholarship
Two 2017 Badger graduates who are in post-graduate studies were also scholarship winners.
Sam Ahler, doctoral student in Ecological Restoration at University of Colorado - Boulder, and
Douglas Reuss, a third year law student in Environment Law, are 2024 Cashman Post-Graduate Scholars.
